And, away she goes..........

This POST is dedicated to Rosalie, my daughter, who leaves for India tomorrow for 3 months! I will miss her terribly AND, I know she will have an amazing experience (or 1000 of them!) Today is Friday. I am feeling great. Driving around Santa Barbara with Theo doing errands & feeling pretty 'normal'. I am relishing this feeling & yet, in my heart, I am thinking about Rosalie's journey and my own journey..........Chemo (round #2) on Wednesday. I have enjoyed the wonderful food dropped off (& shared) by friends! What a gift~ So much delicious food. We feel so well taken care of. I know this journey is a long one & there will be times when food & friends may take a spot in the 'background', but that does not ,in any way, diminish, the absolute adoration I have for ALL that continue to help make this journey as pleasant as possible. Enjoying comfort food at Lindsay's last evening & watching THE most AMAZING Laker game (OT again!) was such a boost for the soul! Thank you Lindsay! This evening we have an opportunity to share some time with our dear dear Lucy~ what love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
